In a long, slow moving grocery line, exchange impatience with putting a little smile on your face and breathing deeply into your belly. Allow a feeling of peacefulness to spread throughout your body.

Back away from that ringing phone and do not answer.
How does that choice feel? You can call back later, but for now you have given yourself moment of freedom.
Turn off the bad news generators
and look for something good in your life.
Lie down for a few minutes each day and enjoy the purposeful rest. This needn’t be long.
